Widgets For Your OpenGL Application
- What is GLWX?
GLWX is a school project. GLWX is a fork of an existing project, SXML GUI 0.86.
- Where does the name GLWX come from?
GL as in OpenGL. W as in widgets. X as in "cross" platform, or, X as in XML.
Here are GLWX widgets combined with Lattice from the Really Slick Screensaver collection.
Here are some screens of a Visualization Toolkit (VTK) demo application using GLWX widgets.
Note: The frames per second monitor in the screenshots can be misleading.
At the moment, the VTK demo only redraws the frame when events are detected, such as mouse movement (Immediate mode rendering OFF). In GLUT and SDL demos, where the frame is redrawn as frequently as possible, my machine gets over 2000 frames per second.
